From Religion to Truth - Knowing God Beyond Belief.

If you think you know god, it is impossible to truly know God; which is why suffering always persists.
It is impossible to know god as a belief system because beliefs are, firstly, a culmination of unreliable thoughts; yet, more subtle, all beliefs are judgments. Therefore, to believe in what we think is god, is ego’s way of covertly keeping itself alive through the deceptive process of judging God. Again, all beliefs are judgments - no matter what. So, if you believe in god, you are, in fact, judging God; even disbelief in god is a belief - a judgment of God - which must be dropped. It is important to recognize what holds beliefs together, judgment. When one drops all judgment, one will notice that beliefs are simultaneously dropped, too. Try it and see! What are you afraid of?
Once more, a belief or disbelief in god means you are judging life - judging God. All religious scriptures were inspired originally by an enlightened being who cleansed (him or herself) of all judgment; they had no intentions of injecting more belief systems into individual human minds, and the collective, through religion. Because all awakened beings, including Jesus, and the Buddha, were directly experiencing life with the infinite, with God, devoid of all belief, they spoke primarily on dispelling ALL belief systems. In other words, all of them had transcended the limitations of mind and judgment beyond conditions of illusive mind-made worlds of untruth. They rested in the only true realm of existence - unconditional joyous loving grace.
The Enlightened were in direct experience with the infinite which we term “God;” not to be confused with a god of a belief system or a god of your understanding; because, any god born and adopted out of a belief system is ‘objective.’ For example, the statement, “There is only one god.” points to the problem. That statement does point to truth by indicating there is something greater than human understanding, but dispels truth by stating God is a separate objective entity which stands alone from ‘all that is’. That phrase further mocks truth by reinforcing a belief system that you stand alone from God; i.e. the ego defined idea there is a separate me and a separate god - apart from one another; all of which are NOT true. Of course, thinking God is a separate ‘anything’ can only be understood using mind and by believing it, but not through direct knowing (beyond the trappings of mind - Enlightenment.)
The truth of God, however, could be more accurately stated this way, “There is no god. There is ONLY God.” That statement points to truth of existence - directing attention towards true undiluted, unconditional reality, which is ‘subjective.’ God as subjective in nature is neither man nor woman - has no sex - not an object in any form - no personal qualities whatsoever. To objectify God as a Father is to turn away from God. It is more accurate to say God is Mother and Father (as alluded to in the most original form of the Lord’s Prayer written in Aramaic, prior to religion, and before manipulated translation took it’s place.) There doesn’t appear to be a word, yet, however, which prefaces subjective infinite unconditional almighty truth as both Mother and Father. Wait! Yes, actually there is! The word is God. God is. God is all that is, subjectively, beyond male and female objectified prejudices, identities, and discriminating mind. God is non separate from ‘all that is’ and non separate from you. “God” is simply a word, which inherently has no meaning. We merely arrange the letters G-O-D together as a communicable word to point towards truth - the truth as grace and love - as existence - the ultimate source of life - which already resides within you - as you.
(An impromptu exercise - try this: See if you notice your mind believing or disbelieving this article; both, belief and disbelief are forms of discriminating mind; neither one is your true nature - loving presence beyond interpretation. If you are aware of both belief and disbelief, then who is awareness? Mind or your deeper essence?)
Most, if not all religions, unconsciously, have taken truth of reality, and objectified God as a person, an entity which is definitive. How can source of all creation which is indisputably infinite be definitively described? (Ask yourself that question again.) It’s not possible. So, why does religion, and we as individuals, always try to do the impossible? That is: trying to understand God using conditioned mind’s thought processes and belief systems while history continues to repeat itself - over and over? In other words, we are using a conditioned method (mind) to comprehend the unconditional (no mind). We cannot seem to let go of our mind-made opinions of ourselves, beliefs, habits, and self-images, long enough, to realize God through direct experience within - beyond thinking and doing. Perhaps, taking a pause from religion, scientific analysis, and myth gods for a moment, turning inward for answers, and directing your attention towards Enlightenment may be a loving possibility for you.
Moreover, at the very least, religion and religious beliefs made god an object, a myth in the form of a something, (usually a person), which is absolutely NOT truth. That is why religion, religious ideals, ideas, concepts, beliefs, AND disbelief in a god must be dropped, ultimately, and inevitably, if one truly wants to know God, through direct experience within - permanently ending all suffering - to heartfully and honestly commune with God. Yet, that last statement is not accurate, really, because, everyone and everything (including you) is already in perfect communion with God - not an objectified god myth of religion BUT subjective True Infinite God - the indescribable source of life. How could the source of all life NOT already exist within you - as you?
The problem is that judgmental belief systems, delusional concepts, and worrisome doubts, generated by mind, block what ‘already is.’ All ego-mind stuff is in the way of seeing that everyone is already in perfect communion with the infinite - already perfectly supported by ‘all that is’ - already in absolute oneness with Eternal Source - God.
It is more truthful to let go of disbelief, that you are NOT already in perfect unity with infinite source of love (which some label God), than trying to believe you must think or do something else in order to receive or know God. Point and fact: You are love itself - infinite love - and you need not think or do anything to realize this. You are already that which you are seeking. You already know God, you just aren’t aware, because your mind is getting in the way. The eternal source of life is expressing through you - be that - as pure consciousness. Drop mind, and watch all doubt, judgment, and belief dissolve, and see what remains: God - Pure Love - Eternal Infinite Truth - The Real You.
